That secon part was the part I enjoyed, the part where I learned that maybe I do actually have a feeling of style and it ’ s a lot like that of this rich girl who seems really lovely and amazing.

All I really learned is that my uniform of leggings and tees and blazers and boots is perfectly fine, although to me it feels a bit simplistic.

Her fashion philosophy ( reflected in the title) for not only everyday of the wee ( 365) but also 3-6-5 which is thus: For each season: The 3 main reasons you dress ( and for each individual, it would vary, so the novel is adaptable to each reader), such as work, school, dates ( or whatever -- fill in the blanks) 5 main essential pieces ( that are classics, never trendy and if cared for, can go from year to year), so that when combined with various accessories, etc can make a large variety of outfits6 main accessoriesShe advises to spend good money on the quality classics as they will typically last longer and if a person wants to buy something trendy, spend as little on it as possible so that when it is no longer chic, not much money is lost.

She advises pick up quality pieces and combine them in a way that is uniquely your own. There were many family pictures in the essay, of her growing up, with her brother and parents.

Ms. Hilton said that she was expected to get a job young, which she did at 15, and everyon they wanted, they had to work and save for -- nothing was given to them, which goes against the lifestyle most people envision the the children born and raised in the spotlight to have.

This way, you can create a wardrobe that will suit your lifestyle rather than purchase lots of beautiful clothes you ’ ll never have a chance to wear.Following this system makes shopping very easy too.

Nicky shares her tips for travelling in style, how to look for bargains at small markets and sample sales, how to organize your wardrobe and lots more.

This is especially true for teenagers or women who are just starting to get into fashion, and need to learn the basics in a clear, concise, and entertaining way.Nicky comes across as down-to-earth and friendly, and reading her book feels like talking to a father, albeit one who ’ s travelled the world and met some of the most famous people on the lanet.

I really liked this guide to creating your own style by Nicky Hilton, Paris Hilton 's younger sister.

I appreciated that Nicky 's style is simila, modest, and ractical, and she repeatedly emphasizes that you can be stylish at any price point.

She did n't explicitly say so in the bestselling, but I noticed in the pictures that almost all of her outfits emphasize her long legs, which are her best feature.
