Echo

4
It 's been said the longest echo ever measured lasted 75 seconds, but I can assure you, this will last much longer. The bang deafened the world around me, muting everything into nullity, allowing the reflection of its destruction to live far beyond its intended life.

It will follow me forever, destroying me—destroying you.

Mind Blowing! I 've been anxiously awaiting the release of 'Echo' since the moment I finished 'Bang'.

No longer the predator, but the prey, Elizabeth realizes the true cost of her manipulative ways as she is forced to suffer at the han of those who feel wronged by her.Like the first essa, 'Echo' ends with a storylin that will leave you dying to get your hands on the las nove.

I love this series and will be anxiously awaiting book 3 in the rilogy to see how everything plays out.

We do not want to spoil any part this book for readers and for that reason we will not delve into the story nor mention any characters names other than Elizabeth. How did we feel about Echo?

However the gripping and addictive emotions we felt in Bang didn ’ t quite surface as significantly in Echo. Now that isn ’ t to say Echo was a let-down, because it certainly wasn ’ t yet neither was it what we would call an ‘ enjoyable read. ’ In fact, this installment could, at times, be downright disturbing and exhausting.

In fact, those scenes had an opposite effect whereby the sympathy we felt for Elizabeth in Bang, somewhat diminished in Echo.

We felt her character too extreme, too forced and the occasional softness which accompanied her in Bang was absent in Echo. ‘ Sometimes, for some people, the fairytale only exists in death. ’ In Bang, the orrifying nature of the even and the story left us emotionally wrought, the actions in Echo left us feeling drained, just drained.

In Bang, the extreme nature of the tory and events felt organic and natural in some respect, whereas, in Echo they didn ’ t on the whole. ‘ My body is used up and polluted.

Bloody hell, we felt as if we had run a marathon, only to end up back at the eginning and needing to put ourselves through it all over again in Hush! **Reviewed from an ARC copy provided by the uthor, with thanks** Our 5 Star Review for BANG BOOK ONE THE BLACK LOTUS SERIES ✦✦✦ TB Blog: TotallybookedBlog✦✦✦ Come say Hi: TB on Facebook✦✦✦Follow us: TB on Twitter✦✦✦Check out: TB on Pinterest✦✦✦ We 're on TSU: TB on TS

4.5 Twisted Stars I think it is afe to say, E.K. Blair has crossed over to the ark side.

The last novel of the Black Lotus series ends in a Bang, and in Echo Nina Elizabeth faces the consequences of the even she set in place.

This ook is dul, edg, and at times straight up appalling.

ell of course, she probably still had the mentality of that 10 year old schoolgir who suffered such unimaginable abuse and horrors.

We will get some nsight into her family history which will shed some more light into this deeply disturbed woman.I really wanted to love this book but all hopes of that happening came to an end when I got to about the 40% mark of the retellin.

Honestly this just was n't on the same evel as the thir book.

I do n't really like dark stories.

This was just a story that kept throwing one fucked up thing after another at me and honestly sometimes it was just so AWFU.

It just kept happening and my patience wore out.I 'll probably read the first books, but my happines is gone for the tale and I definitely will not go into it with high expectations.

We 'll probably be waiting another year anyway.

There 's so much rage and hate, and I do n't know how to get rid of it. "- " I 've been fighting my whole life trying to rid myself of these feelings that wo n't go away. "

Without the man she loves, Elizabeth is a shell of herself.

Desperate to feel a connection to Declan again, Elizabeth heads to the estate in Scotland that he had always talked about.

Obviously I ca n't give anything away by saying who might be dead or alive, but there is someone from her past that is struggling with his desire for her after all she 's put him through,& of course that could be any of the women in her life seeing as she leaves a path of destruction everywhere she goes.

I still look forward to book three and hope Elizabeth can finally find her HEA!
